Undalan

The name of the original failed settlement atop which Phandalin is built. Undalan may have been built atop an even older location, the town of Benediction. There are references to it in some old surviving scrolls, which hint that a Tivuld-Gho resided in a cavern beneath Benediction. In PR 203 the band styling themselves the Singing Swords successfully penetrated the ruins of Undalan, but met their end before finding a way downward into Benediction.
