Bezarcane

Surname unknown or perhaps lost to time, he is a half-elven sage (MAGE 17) who is a well-respected and highly placed member of the Order of the Gauntlet. It is believed that Bezarcane disguises himself or becomes invisible often, and so the phrase has arisen 'Bezarcane is watching'. Some say he is a double-agent, embedded in both the Order of the Gauntlet and The Zhentarim. Interestingly, those who say this don't survive very long. His ultimate agenda is unknown, and he may be in possession of ancient magic recovered from ruins the in the Forbidden Zone.
