Arcantryl

Arcantryl, also called Magus, is a Lawful Neutral Futurus/New God associated with magic, arcane knowledge, ordered learning, and the laws of the cosmos. Her doctrine frames magic not as wild superstition, but as the disciplined understanding of universal structure: study the hidden laws of existence, then harness or bend them to create magical effects.

In the Northern Reaches/Middenmark, her church appears to be more urban and scholarly than rural. Sources note that her clerics have focused on larger centers such as Ironguard Motte, Threshold, and Eastdale, with smaller shrines appearing elsewhere rather than a wide village presence. A shrine to Arcantryl exists at Ironguard Motte, and a larger stone temple is described as under construction, intended to serve both clerics and magic-users.

Her clergy are astrologer-priests, spell-theologians, librarians, geometers, and ritual scholars. Her temples would contain star charts, spell formulae, polished lenses, mathematical diagrams, locked archives, and instructional chambers for both divine and arcane casters. Her faithful treat careless magic as nearly sinful, because magic is sacred knowledge and should be practiced with precision, discipline, and restraint.
